Ovarian Stimulation Injections

The stimulation phase involves the injection of medications for 8-14 days, to induce the ovaries to produce many eggs. The stimulation phase may take longer if your follicles are slower to mature. The medications stimulate (and are derived from) two key hormones, Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Lutenizing Hormone (LH). 

Following review of your doctor-provided fertility medication calendar, we will schedule a daily administer time each evening at your home for the duration of your ovarian stimulation injection plan. We will reconstitute, prepare, and administer each injection. The package price for this service includes a discounted rate if all ovarian stimulation injections are administered by Fertility Village.

Trigger Shot Injection

Just before ovulation, higher levels of estrogen trigger a spike in LH, which causes ovulation. A ‘trigger shot’ of a large dose of human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG), which stimulates ovulation, starts the process.

Timing is everything with your trigger shot! Following your doctor’s direction, we will schedule to arrive at your home at the indicated ideal time to prepare and administer the injection. The pricing for this service includes the trigger shot only. The price for this service may vary dependent upon required time at night of injection.

Ovarian Stimulation and Trigger Shot Injections

This service includes a combination of the ovarian stimulation and trigger shot injections at a packaged discount.

Following review of your physician-provided fertility medication calendar, we will schedule a daily administer time each evening at your home for the duration of your ovarian stimulation injection and trigger shot plan. We will reconstitute, prepare, and and administer each injection. The package price for this service includes an increased discounted rate if all ovarian stimulation injections and the trigger shot are administered by Fertility Village. Pricing may vary dependent upon required time at night of trigger shot injection.

Progesterone Injections

Progesterone prepares the lining of the uterus (endometrium) to allow a fertilized egg (embryo) to stick or implant. If an embryo implants into the lining of the uterus, the ovary will produce progesterone during the first weeks of pregnancy. After that time, progesterone will be produced by the placenta throughout the rest of the pregnancy.

Following your doctor’s direction, we will schedule a daily administer time each evening at your home for the duration of your progesterone injection plan. We will prepare and administer each injection. The package price for this service includes a discounted rate if all progesterone injections are administered by Fertility Village.

Pay Per Visit

Following your doctor’s direction, we will schedule a single administer time in the evening at your home for either the ovarian stimulation or progesterone injection . We will prepare, reconstitute (if needed), and administer each injection. The pricing for this service includes one single visit. This pricing excludes the trigger shot.

Instructional Visit

Prior to your first injection as directed by your doctor-provided fertility medication calendar, we will schedule an in-home visit to review each medication, and how to prepare, reconstitute, and administer each injection. Syringes will be provided for practice of preparation and injection.
